EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY: MY PROCESS
My work as your Essex event photographer begins with an in-depth consultation to understand the tone and significance of your event, and to ascertain how it fits into your wider marketing and / or fund-raising strategy. I’ll make a note of all the key moments and elements that you want captured, so that my time is spent photographing the images that will be of most relevance and use to you.
Prior to the event we can also agree a turnaround time, so that they are delivered by any required deadline. If there are times during the event where you need me orchestrate or set-up particular shots, please let me know and I can take a more interactive approach as and when necessary. At all others times, I will blend into the background and photograph genuine interactions and moments.
Very often, clients refer to me as having been ‘seen nowhere but actually must have been everywhere’ such is the manner in which I seek out the most photo-worthy, memorable moments without people even noticing me.
Following your Essex event I will professionally colour correct and edit your images so that they are true representation of the occasion you have painstakingly put together. You will have your own password protected online gallery, making it easy to download and share images with everyone who you’d like to show them off to. You will also have the option to download both web-optimised and print-ready versions of your event images.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL YOU DELIVER FOLLOWING THE EVENT?
The number of images from any given event varies and will be dependent on many things including the length of coverage, the nature of the event and whether you want me to spend time orchestrating and setting up posed shots. Once you get in touch and we chat about your specific event, I can advise on how many images you can expect to receive.
DO YOU COVER EVENTS OUTSIDE OF ESSEX?
Absolutely! I'm happy to travel across London and the South East for your event. If you choose a minimum of 2 hours of event photography, all milage and travel costs are included in the package.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE UNWELL?
I have a close network of photographers who I can call upon should I be unable to attend your event at the last minute. It will be my responsibility to source a photographer of a similar style and expertise.
HOW DO I BOOK YOU?
The first step is pressing the 'Contact Ross' button and telling me about the event you have planned. We can then arrange a phone call or zoom chat to see what package would work best for you. Once you have booked, I will send over some more information to help you get the most from the coverage.
